Pete’s Photoblog

Pete's f-holes!

About Me:

I am an amateur photographer from New South Wales, Australia. My weapons of choice are rangefinders, preferably Leica’s and I enjoy the smell of fixer in the morning.

I’m a relative newcomer to photography and have been shooting as a hobbyist for approximately two and a half years.

I started out with a Canon 350D; which I still own and use occasionally. A short time later, after reading some articles by Chris Weeks and curiosity getting the better of me, I purchased a Canonet G-III QL17 and my first roll of black and white film. I was instantly hooked and have never looked back!

Ominous dark bottles labelled ‘not beer’ now take the place of their counterparts in the fridge and the option of having a bath in the ‘dark-bath-room’ is a thing of the past. Long live film!

About This Site:

This site is powered by Wordpress and uses a ‘free theme’ (doublespeak for fuckers who feel the need to build in encrypted advertising code for unrelated entitities so who will remain nameless) that has been customised. I’ve tried to keep the code in compliance with standards so if it doesn’t display correctly in your browser, don’t blame me. I live in a Micro$oft free world but have tested it under Safari, Opera and Firefox. If you are not using IE and something doesn’t work please let me know.
